New car is already emerging from Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. Stuttgart based company has developed new top-of-the-line sports car for the buyers who want only the best possible in terms of power, handling, dynamics and luxury in perfect combination. All these characteristics are packaged in on sexy car called Porsche 911 Turbo S.

The powerplant propelling this beauty is a six-cylinder boxer enhanced with two exhaust gas turbochargers with variable turbine geometry, with an increase in power over standard 911 Turbo by 30 to 530 bhp (390 KW). Maximum torque is an astonishing 700 Newton-metres (516 lb-ft). All optional components from the regular 911 Turbo now come as a standard in this model.

You would expect that Porsche 911 Turbo S is very thirsty, but you are wrong. It averages just 11.5 litres/100 kilometres(equal to 24.8 mpg imp), the same as the regular 911 Turbo, leaving you with a smile on a gas station thanks to its efficiency for this kind of superpowered sports car.

The 911 Turbo S comes exclusively with seven-speed Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) (Porsche’s Double-Clutch Gearbox) conveying drive power to Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive. All the latest safety functions are present and assurring the driver that the ride will be as smooth as possible.

In conjunction with Launch Control on the Sport Chrono Package Turbo this baby accelerates to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds and to 200 km/h it needs 5.8 more, totalling 10.8 seconds. You’ll feel like you are enjoying in the cockpit of an F-15.

Top speed is 315 km/h or 195 mph and the stopping power is equally impressive, enough to stop it to standstill in just over 34 meters.
The sale is expected to begin in May 2010. German prices are around 173 000 Euros including VAT for the 911 Turbo S Coupe and 184 00 Euros for the Cabriolet version.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS is even more powerful, lowered by a higher margin; gearbox is optimized with shorter transmission ratios and of course features numerous body and suspension enhancements according to highest and latest quality standards in the auto industry.

This car will provide the basis on which the racing version of 911 GT3 will be built later this year. Because of this, it offers more character, speed and extreme than any of the previous 911 model versions.

The engine is not 3.8 liters instead of 3.6 and produces more power and revs faster and the car feels more agile and stronger. Power boost will be 15 hp more than the basic 911 GT3, which translated into numbers is 450 horsepower from the naturally aspirated high-revving engine. Natural aspirated engine technology is brought to the limit with this engine; it produces roughly 118 horsepower per liter, and in the same time the power unit stays perfectly usable and comfortable for driving on busy city streets and on a highway.

The buyers will be able to get Porsche 911 GT3 RS exclusively with six-speed manual gearbox, with shortened ratios, low weight, superior materials combined with high efficiency. To improve already excellent road and track performance, for the first time PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) suspension is used and set up with special parameter set. The track is wider on both axles. The front axle comes with nine-inch-wide wheels running on 245/35 ZR 19 sports tires, the rear axle features twelve-inch-wide wheels incorporating 325/30 ZR 19
sports tires.

The dynamic engine mounts used as standard in 911 GT3 RS has a role of improving car’s dynamics to even higher level and it seems this is the limit when it comes to road performance and agility. Depending on the driving and road conditions, the mounts change their stiffness and damping effect, improving the connection between the engine and the body of the car when driving in extreme conditions. Downforce is greater, further improving race track performance. Lithium-ion battery will be an option as a replacement for a standard accumulator battery, reducing the weight for another 10kg or 22lb.

It is clear that this model is for drivers with lots of experience in daily driving and modest race track background. Its roots in motorsports are clear and further accented with details like: low ride height, the newly developed huge rear carbon-fiber wing with some parts made of aluminum, powerful and shiny dual tailpipes on the exhaust from the extra light and durable titanium, as well as numerous exterior details specially designed and tailored for the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

Sales are starting in Germany with the start of 2010. The European base price will be Euro 122.400 without taxes and other expenses.
