Tis engine can make the five-door coupe go from standstill to 100km/h (62.14 mph) in 4.9 seconds and all the way up to 250 km/h (155.34 mph) which is the limited speed. The V8 eight-cylinder engine with the new special “cylinder on demand” technology by Audi that is activated under part load can average 100mk for just 9.7 liters of fuel or 24.25 US mpg.

This means that when the V8 is running on only 4 cylinders under part load the car will automatically start the Active Noise Cancellation system (ANC). All the noise of the car is picked up by the four microphones placed in the headlining that are constantly recording and send stream of noise to the computer which analyze it. When the computer sense that there are intrusive sound elements it begins to send antiphrasis sounds through the speakers of the onboard sound system. This way the intrusive sound is largely canceled out.
