Audi’s ambitions reach high above the R8 sports car. The new supercar is going to be named R10 while trying to outshine the Porsche 918 Spyder, Ferrari’s Enzo replacement and McLaren P1. This car will come with new features and technologies made for the 2012 R18 e-tron, the winner of 2012 Le Mans. Durheimer, the technical development chief, stated in an interview that if the R10 is designed to be a diesel hybrid, it would be a full hit.
Power output for the R10 would be 700 hp (522 kW) and 737 lb-ft of torque, with a potential to reach 62 mph in just 3 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph.
