The American-born Dodge Charger Daytona makes a re-appearance on the 2012 Los Angeles International Auto Show with the brand new 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T. A limited number of 2500 cars will be available for Charger lovers in two trim levels: Charger R/T and Charger R/T Road and Track.
The features that make the Charger so unique are the 370 hp HEMI V-8 engine, the design to take your breath away and the rear-wheel drive. Therefore, this car is the successor of the classic Daytona, but with more attention paid to interior design, exterior perfection and of course, performance, for a price of around $33, 000 MSRP.
The Charger comes in various exterior colors: Bright White, Bullet Silver, Pitch Black and Daytona Blue. Also, 20-inch aluminum wheels with Gloss Black painted pockets and Satin Black for the front grille, the roof wrap, the vinyl hood graphic, the rear R/T spoiler and the specific DAYTONA graphic. The engine cover is in Daytona Blue. Other features included are high-speed engine controller, paddle shifters with Sport Mode and performance suspension and steering.
The Road and Track model interior comes in black Nappa leather and suede, and Daytona Blue seats stitching. The DAYTONA emblem is in blue embroidery. Other features are 10-speaker Beats Audio System (552 W), Mopar bright pedal kit, DAYTONA badge on the instrument panel with the build number of the model.
The Chrysler Group in the Ontario plant assembled the 2013 Charger Daytona and will launch it nationwide in the first months of 2013 with a MSRP of $32, 990 for the R/T model and $36, 495 for the R/T Road and Track model.
