10 Years of Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (2013)

2013 is the 10th anniversary of the Jeep Wrangler and it will celebrate it with its Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Edition which is said to be the most powerful and enduring Wrangler in the history of these vehicles. The 2013 Wrangler will be either 2-door or 4-door car with 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission in collaboration with a Pentastar 3.6 l V6 engine with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. It rides on 17-inch Rubicon aluminum wheels with the unique Jeep Wrangler logo.

The Anniversary Edition of the Wrangler features even stronger and more distinctive characteristics than the previous models. The Jeep is capable to climb with ease. Standard equipment includes Premium Sunrider top and Freedom hard top. Exterior colors for the 10th Anniversary Edition are White, Billet Silver and an exclusive new color – Anvil.

  1. I had an 07 Rubicon that was lifted and bigger tires (and yes, I would off road it often) and the road noise really isn’t that bad. You aren’t buying a Suburban. It’s supposed to be a near bare bones style of SUV. I was going to wait for a diesel variant but I don’t know now seeing this. I do miss my Jeep, I’m just wondering how much the markup is going to be, $40k would pretty steep for an unlimited when you can buy a barebones one for $12k less and use that extra $$$ on making a more capable Wrangler.

  4. I was driving a Rubicon for 3 days in a trip we did in the mountains. This is a great vehicle! I felt very confident going up a stiff hill or going down to the valley.
    The only thing I can complain about was that there was not a lot of room for my camping gear πŸ™‚ (I have a lot of staff).
