So if we follow the story we will find out that this car is dates back to the original Ferrari 250 GTZ, and Zagato who made it in the late ‘50s of the last century. This amazing example of the car find its way in to the noted Japanese collector by the name of Hayashi, and sought to celebrate the original’s 50th anniversary. Then in 2005, Hayashi contracted Zagato to build a modern interpretation of the original based on the 575 M. The Ferrari Company added their blessing and because the 599 GTB Fiorano was set to debut at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show they ask for a delay of Zagato’s Villa d’Este for two months later.
