Form Holden we have the company’s ground-breaking 1969 Hurricane Concept completely restored. The coupe with mid-engine and low-slung served as a showcase that introduced a technology for the vehicles for almost three decades ago. This includes the turn-by-turn navigation system for the first time, the automatic climate control and a rear-view camera. In its time engineers relied on genuine ingenuity to fill the Hurricane with equal parts performance and technology. The navigation system was relied on magnets embedded in the road, and illuminates a series of arrows, and the rear-view camera was from closed-circuit TV.
