The March of Nissan Paved the Way for “Nissan March” in the Month of March in Mexicana

Nissan is going to start its assembly of Versa sedan in Mexico at the Aguascalientes plant to bring down the manufacturing costs. Redesigned Versa equipped with 1.8-liter engine and expected to get 33 mpg in highway as well as city driving; on global V-platform is the inception of Nissan in decreasing production expense. Nissan is also planning to update all its models including Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Leaf, GT-R, NV200, Titan, Murano within few years to cope up in cut throat automotive competition. Nissan is investing $1.05 billion dollar for new projects in Mexico along with suppliers.

Nissan Sentra will be redesigned in 2013 with some resemblance to the Maxima and Altima in exterior styling. Sportiness, power and interior as well as Nissan parts for better efficiency and performance will be more focused area in redesigned 2013 Nissan Sentra.

Nissan Mexicana, the subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co.Ltd. , was established in 1961. Aguascalientes, Toluca, Cuernava and Mexico City are different cities of Mexico from where Nissan Mexicana operates in different segments like designing, distribution and auto marketing with approximately 9800 employees for domestic and international markets.

On March 4th, 2011, the year of 50 years celebration, Nissan started production of “the hatchback Nissan March” known as Micra in other countries at its plant Aguascalientes, Mexico. The Nissan March is a compact model with high equipment levels based on V-platform, which was designed and tested in Japan while keeping in mind the diversity in needs of the customers from 160 countries. Establishing manufacturing sites in Thailand, India and China along with New Mexico plant, Nissan has planned to produce 60,000 vehicles with a speed of one vehicle in one minute.
