Skoda Octavia vRS hit top speed of a 202.15 mph (325.33 kmph).
During the Bonneville Speed Week Skoda Octavia vRS (highly-modified Octavia) went to the Bonneville Salt Flats and reach an incredible top speed of 202.15 mph or 325.33 km/h.
All the engineers from the UK team of Skoda in association with the partners at REVO Technik made the VW Group’s 2.0 liter TSI engine to produce 500 bhp (373 kW / 507 PS) so they can accomplish this goal. There was some controversy about the earlier annulment that the car will produce between 550-600 PS (405-441 kW / 542-592 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque using high-octane petrol and 26 to 28 PSI of boost. Тerrible collision on a Russian highway
This is taken on the Krasavinsky bridge (over the Kama River) just before the end of it where a motorist and a passenger had an engine failure and they end up strained between the fast traffic. The driver decides to open the hood and make some reappears instead of pushing the vehicle at the side for safety.
If you look closer you can see a humane figure moving in the background behind the opened hood. And then if happens the inevitable. Another car slams in the rear of the vehicle with no brakes applied and smashes the unaware motorist that is looking under the hood.
By real luck the driver of the stalled car is not killed and you can see him slowly moving and standing up in the end. He stays on the ground because his leg is broken. The other passenger slowly raises and goes to see if the driver is ok. Continue reading
