Speaking about the consumption at highway legal speeds, RX450h has consumed about  8.85 l/100 km, exactly the same as the RX400h, very far from consumption combined cycle (6.3 liters), which is the reference beat.

In contrast, in the special tour, unrepresentative of the usual routes that can make any driver since the arrival height is less than the starting but serves to contrast the extra-consumption data, the RX450h has consumed 6.5 l / 100 km to a real average of 98 km / h, about 6.0 liters approved.

Finally, in the city is where it shines in depth, with a ridiculous consumption of just 4.9 l/100 km (by comparison is 6.6 liters), making a completely normal driving, with a distance of over half an hour at an average speed of 29 km / h. Reflection on the price. The new Lexus RX450 costs 71 490 euros in the Luxury version tested, compared to 60 270 euros in the same version of the RX400.
