At the New York Auto Show, Hyundai announced that will be giving away a free iPad with every purchase of its recently unveiled Equus luxury sedan.
One of the preloaded files on this iPad will be electronic version of the Equus manual. Also on the iPad, Hyundai will preload an application which will make service appointments easy and fun.

We do not think that people which can afford a Hyundai Equus need something free, but it is always nice to hear a fresh new idea like this one. Until now, the other companies were offering an iPod stand or other connectivity options for all kinds of electronic gadgets, but this is the first time when the automotive company is actually offering one for free with a purchased car.

This car definitely would get mistaken for a Mercedes. I didn’t find a price range for it though. I wouldn’t buy it because a Hyundai just doesn’t have the status symbol that other luxury cars have. Then again I drive a truck. So, luxury may not be that important to me!

What an amazing car! These day Toyota has lots of problems. Hyundai gets chances to lift up.
