Dacia is proudly presenting its latest model Dacia Duster. After the huge success on the European market with its previous models such as Dacia Sandero, Dacia Stepway and several versions of Dacia Logan, Dacia is proud to present the Duster. With its symbolic name, this model is aimed to taste the dust of the road and be a capable car when there is no road.

Looking at the latest provided photos, we can see that Dacia has calmed the Duster a little, as much of the glare is polished and the car looks less futuristic, comparing it with the previously announced concept model. . In fact Dacia Duster looks like it has borrowed something from redesigned Volkswagen Touareg and Land Rover Freelander. But sometimes copying a few good ideas is not such a bad thing.

The main selling point of Dacia Duster is that it offers very much for the money. Strong performance, spacious interior and feature-rich equipment that comes in standard package are the highlights. With this price tag you are getting a car that is in bigger class than its competitors. The real surprise comes when you hear that the combined fuel consumption is only 5.1 liters/100km, using dCi 85 4×2 engine. The environment is not forgotten, Renault and Dacia are famous for their effort to reduce exhaust gasses to minimum and their current models are all aiming for the lowest possible figures. Diesel version of Duster emits only 135g of CO2/km in two-wheel drive form and 145g of CO2/km in four-wheel drive version.

Dacia Duster can be a perfect city car, even a trendy one, thanks to its contemporary design and good looks. Raised ground clearance is welcomed for many underdeveloped European countries; this car is a perfect for bad roads and damaged road infrastructure. Heightened driving position gives an impression of power and status. This fresh and bold approach shows us that Dacia Duster has global intentions. This vehicle can be mass produced and exported to most major world markets as Dacia uses the market penetration and selling facilities already established by Renault.

This car is being currently produced in Pitesti factory in Romania. All versions are being rolled from the manufacturing lines since the beginning of April 2010 in Europe, Turkey and Middle East.

We think that Dacia Duster will be a huge hit for Dacia and Renault, and further raise and promote the image of Dacia. With the proven Renault technology, this car is on pair with most European car manufacturers.
