Lamborghini Announces New Green Plan

Lamborghini announces new green plan for CO2 reductions not only in the car range, but factory wide also.
They will spend about 35 million Euros in large solar panel plant which combined with energy saving plan will achieve factory emissions cut by 30% in the factory by 2010. All Lamborghini vehicles will be 35% more eco-friendly with more efficient engines and lower exhaust figures by 2015. The plans will include modifications and enhancements to the Lamborghini factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese and the design and development centre.

The roof-top plant will produce 1,582 Megawatt hour (MWh) of “green” energy per year, which translates into a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions (-1,067,820 Kg/year) by 2010.
These efforts are made according to the commitment of Lamborghini brand to protecting the environment and make shareholders aware of its new plans in a transparent clear way.
Engines that are going to be used in new Lamborghini vehicles are going to be improved in fuel-efficiency, performance, and further refined using some newly developed technologies and materials.
