Have you ever wondered which tractor is the most fuel – efficient out of the vehicles offered on the market? Well, you can stop now, as the Farm Industry News has recently announced the winner of the top 40 countdown to the most fuel-efficient tractor of the last 10 years: the John Deere 8295R.
The magazine has prepared the list of the most powerful, yet fuel – efficient tractors with the support of Nebraska Tractor Test lab. All the ratings have been based on the PTO test at rated engine speed. The data was gathered from all the test results obtained within the past decade.
Since the day all the tractor manufacturers announced how they are going to follow the EPA’s new clean air standards, the so-called Big 3 – John Deere, AGCO and CNH have been competing to produce the best tractor on fuel. AGCO, Case IH and New Holland has gone for the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, as the best way to comply with the Tier 4i emissions standards and still handle fuel economy. Deere, however, is more likely to use the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) technology for the same reasons.

Ever since the resuscitation of Daimler AG’s Maybach brand of ultra-luxury car nearly a decade ago, sales have dwindled and profits have been slim, which has forced the company to announce their intention to discontinue it. Instead of searching any longer for a profitable fix for this problem, they have turned to expanding their S-Class Mercedes-Benz from three to six variations, set to launch in 2013, which sounds the death knell for the Maybach.
This decision was revealed to the German press after the company’s chief executive in Stuttgart was interviewed about the ways they intend to increase sales for the S-Class luxury models, which the Maybach was unable to do almost immediately after it was brought back. Fewer than 200 models were purchased last year, despite lavishness and six digit starting price. Chief Executive Dieter Zetsche spoke about the stronger sales chances available to the Mercedes-Benz than those of the Maybach.

Manhart MH3 V8 RS Clubsport gets 4.4L twin-turbo engine.
For now we have seen the tuning kit for the standard BMW M3 E92 Coupe form Manhart with amazing 655hp, but now we have the new MH3 V8 RS Clubsport takes it a couple of notches above.
The specialists from Geilenkirchen tuck the BMW performance car with the stock 4.0 V8, and replace the engine with the 4.4-liter V8 motor from the BMW X5/X6 M SAVs. They added couple of modified turbo and a pretty larger intercool with the full titanium exhaust with two racing catalytic converters. There are and the reinforced pistons and rods plus an X6M oil cooler. All of this makes the already potent 555 PS (408 kW / 547 hp) to 750 PS (551 kW / 740 bhp) and 910 Nm (671 lb-ft) of torque.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo by ASMA.
Automotive tuning house ASMA came out and made a claim of perfection while crating the “The Giant” Porsche Cayenne Turbo. They went so far and said that the SUV now has a supercar tuning. The question is this; they managed to achieve this optimistic feat. These purely artistic and somewhat sexy images add some substance to this claim. So now we can see at least how the car looks.
The main thing comes under the hood where ASMA placed some match up to their promise as the factory fitted power unit has been considered strong enough. So we are left contemplating if the wide body aerodynamic kit is enough to satisfy.
It is fitted with a set of 22-inch wheels with wide arches wrapped around them that extend the overall width to more than 2 meters. The car is fitted with custom carbon fiber bodywork wrapped around the model and it has a new look in the front face of the car. This includes huge grille and air intakes giving it a more aggressive and powerful look. The low riding front and rear spoilers and side skirts are the finish of the overall aerodynamic package.
